Extended Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) for the Summer of 2010

All programming will be conducted in the air conditioned atmosphere of the Gaudet Middle School.

Program Details:

• The K-8 ELOP summer session will begin on July 6^th and will run through to July 29^th, from 8am to 11am from Monday through Thursday (with the exception of the first week of programming which will run from Tuesday to Friday). 
• The K-8 ELOP summer session will provide recovery and intervention instruction for students.
• The Middletown High School ELOP Summer Programming (exiting grades 9-11) program will run in two 3-week sessions beginning on July 6^th and will run through to August 12^th.   
• Middletown High School ELOP Summer Programming will offer credit recovery programming for students in the areas ELA and Math and some select (.5) elective courses already offered in our current Program of Studies.  These Credit Acquisition Courses are held for the entire 6 week period from 6pm to 9pm at the Gaudet School. 

 MPS Community Extensions for the Summer of 2010

The program will offer opportunities for students grades K-12 and adult learners in a summer enrichment setting.  All programming will be conducted in the air conditioned atmosphere of the Gaudet Middle School.  Some programs will be offered as a course and others will be offered as a workshop (offered as a single or dual session).
