Classroom Page

The kindergarten classroom is a busy one. The children learn to become independent with self help and academic skills. Our days are filled with Reader's and Writer's Workshop, Everyday Math, word study, science kits and thematic units based upon the school year. We also work on social skills: becoming an active participant in discussions and classroom activities, manners and getting along with classmates. Please encourage your child to read and write at home and complete the monthly homework packet which will help carrry over  the skills that they are developing.
