MIDDLETOWN, RI (May 2, 2025) – In each of the schools across Middletown, there are students doing excellent, noteworthy things. As part of a feature from the town, a different student will be spotlighted for their efforts to make Middletown a special place to live, work and play.

Accomplishment(s): “Norah is a role model,” Second Grade Teacher Melissa Bolton said. “She is caring, compassionate and conscientious. Also, she is the epitome of being polite. In addition, she is extremely helpful to others. She is always there to lend a helping hand if a peer needs support or if teachers need assistance.”

Quotable: “Be polite!” Dream Job: “My dream job is to be a teacher because sometimes I like helping my friends learn on the rug if they need help. I just like helping others. I would like to help homeless people as well.”

Favorite Meal: “Ramen. I really like it because there are different flavors. Beef is my favorite flavor.”

Free Time: “I go play with my friends outside. We play hide & seek. I also do basketball and soccer.”

Who I Look Up To: “I look up to my mom because when I am sick or hurt she really helps me. My grandma was a nurse and I think my mom learned from her how to take care of me.”

Best Part Of Middletown: “I like Aquidneck School because all the teachers are really nice!”

Inspirations: “My mom inspires me to have good manners.”

Top Hangout: “My house. I really like my house. It's really nice and it has a bunch of rooms. I also like walking on Sachuest Point. My dad likes it and we see deer.”

Best Subject In School: “I like reading and writing. I like reading books and like writing a bunch of new stories. I like writing really anything, especially with Ms. Bolton. You make it fun.”
