Middletown Public Schools Announces Leslie Brow as New Director of Student Services

Middletown, RI – Middletown Public Schools is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Leslie Brow as the district’s new Director of Student Services, effective July 1, 2025.

Dr. Brow brings extensive experience in special education leadership, student support services, and inclusive practices across a variety of Rhode Island school districts. Most recently, she served with the Warwick Public Schools, where she collaborated  to ensure high-quality, compliant services for students with disabilities. Prior to that, she held leadership roles at the Sargent Center, Narragansett Public Schools, and Newport County Regional, where she worked closely with educators, families, and community partners to promote positive outcomes for all learners.

With a strong commitment to educational equity and student-centered practices, Dr. Brow is known for her strategic vision, collaborative leadership style, and dedication to ensuring that every student has access to the supports they need to thrive.

Dr. Brow holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Johnson & Wales University, where her research focused on Social and Emotional Learning. 

As Director of Student Services, Dr. Brow will oversee special education, 504 services, related services, mental health supports, and other student-related programming across the district.
