Congratulations to Casey Bowman for being selected as The Middletown Teacher of the Year!
Middletown Public Schools is proud to announce that Casey Bowman has been selected as our 2026 Teacher of the Year.
Since joining the district in 2014, Casey has served as an eighth-grade Math teacher at Gaudet Middle School and taken on numerous leadership roles, including MTSS Coach, Technology Coach, and Beyond the Bell Coordinator. Casey leads with dedication, supporting student achievement through data-driven instruction, strengthening systems like MTSS, expanding intervention programs, and mentoring both students and staff across the district.
This recognition honors not only exceptional teaching, but also a steadfast dedication to the school community. Casey exemplifies these qualities every day through a passion for education, a willingness to embrace new ideas, and an unwavering belief in the potential of every student.
Known for creating engaging and supportive learning environments, Casey inspires curiosity, fosters critical thinking, and builds strong, meaningful relationships with students. Their leadership in integrating technology and supporting Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) has strengthened instructional practices across the district and enhanced opportunities for all learners.
Beyond the classroom, Casey is a valued leader and collaborator, always ready to mentor colleagues, share expertise, and contribute to a positive and forward-thinking school culture.
