RI Pre-K's Lottery Application http://www3.ride.ri.gov/pklottery is live and the deadline has been extended through July 11th . Children who are 4-years-old by September 1, 2021 living in one of the 18 communities with programs are eligible to attend the FREE, full-day, full-school year program.

As you may know, Rhode Island’s Pre-K program is consistently recognized as one of the highest quality programs in the country. RI Pre-K is a full school year, full day program for 4-year-olds that is free to families and offered through a mixed-delivery system of child care centers, Head Start agencies, and Local Education Agencies in 18 communities across the state.

To be eligible to attend, children must be 4-years-old by September 1, 2021, be residents of one of the 18 communities, and apply to a Pre-K within their city or town of residence. The 18 communities include: Central Falls, Coventry, Cranston, East Providence, Johnston, Lincoln, Middletown, Newport, North Kingstown, North Providence, Pawtucket, Providence, South Kingstown, Warren, Warwick, Westerly, West Warwick, and Woonsocket.
