Middletown Wellness Month kicked off last week in the community and at MHS. Middletown’s Islanders Committed members, the youth committee of the Middletown Prevention Coalition, are steering Wellness Month efforts at MHS. Their activities include a Wellness Tree, an Escape Room and a Scavenger Hunt on Purple Day

The Middletown Wellness Month Field Day took place Saturday March 6. The Middletown Prevention Coalition partnered with the Newport County YMCA on this event which offered fun and interactive team building activities geared to communication, cooperation, trust and leadership for our Middletown youth. The kids had a terrific time as the YMCA instructors got them up and moving on a sunny winter day.

Due to heating issues at Middletown High School, there will be will a Distance Learning Day today, Tuesday, March 2nd. No in-person school. Staff will be teaching from home.

How To Turn A PDF Into A Google Doc You may already know that you can easily convert PDF to Word, so it’s quite natural to wonder if you can turn a PDF into Google Doc, the online version of a Word doc. While there may not be a direct way, you can take advantage of Google’s viewing capabilities as a workaround to generate a Google Doc from a PDF. 1. Upload your PDF to your Google Drive. 2. In Google Drive, right click on the file and select Open with > Google Docs. Once open, you can interact with the file as a normal Google Doc – editing, sharing, emailing, even making a copy of it as a permanent Google Docs file. #techtiptuesday
