Ms. Cerra had a really cool guest speaker yesterday. Nathan Loura, Chief Information Security Officer for the State of RI, spoke with 2 classes. Talking about what is cybersecurity, what people in different areas of Cybersecurity do, training, certs, etc needed in the field. Academic vs Alternative training. Ms. Cerra's guest speaker visited a little differently today. Dr. Eileen Danaher from the Samuels Sinclair Dental Clinic at RI Hospital joined us via Zoom and talked about the different careers in a dental office, from front office staff all the way up to the Dentist themselves. To add to our great weekend, both Cam Miller and Kate Cruikshank competed in the URI Indoor Track Invitational.

The Guest Speaker today was Middletown Graduate (Class of 2019), Pranitha Nichanametla, Cybersecurity Specialist and IT Specialist for NOAA! She discussed her education, career path, how much a person in the field can earn, and what her current job is like. She also took the time to talk with students about travelling to Colorado where she works now, and the college experience. #WeAreMiddletown #IslanderPRIDE
